FAQ

How do I add and insert my photographs into the program and book?

To add your photos into the program simply click on the “plus” sign in the top left hand side and source your pictures from your local machine. They will then appear down the left hand side and you can then click and drag them anywhere on your chosen page.

How do I use the page styles/backgrounds etc that you have supplied?

To use any of the examples that we have supplied simply click and hold the image and drag it onto the required page.

How do I make my picture fit the whole page?

There are two ways in which this can be done, the quickest and most effective way is by right clicking your image once it is on your page, selecting “fit” and then “fit to page”.

When I enlarge the size of my photo manually by using the grab handles in the corners of the photograph the image cuts parts off, why is this?

This is because the software recognises the fact that you are effectively changing the shape of the image. To re-adjust what you would like to show in the photograph double click it and here you can crop and move around the image.

How do I crop my photograph?

To crop your image simply double click it and use the grab handle in the bottom right of the highlighted area.

Can I save any page styles that I have created and want to use on another book or page?

Yes, on the same bar where the “page styles, Masks, Backgrounds and scrapbook” tabs are located there is a cog with a down arrow. Click on here and you can save either page or the spread and name it. When you have done this it will save in the “page styles” tab.

What are the blue and red lines around the edge of the page?

The blue line indicates the edge of the page and the red line indicates the trim line. Anything that exceeds the red line will be lost. When creating a spread or a full page image it is recommended that you go to the blue line, this is to reduce the chance of white marks around the edge, be careful to contain the focus of the image within the red line however.

What is the autoflow button?

The autoflow button is designed to fill your photo book for you. When you use this function the program will fill your book for you including any present page styles and this is dependant on whether you choose “picture order” or “picture orientation”.

How do I add more pages?

To add more pages to your book simply click on “page” in the top left bar of the program and select “add”.

When I fit one of my photographs to the page and drop another photograph over the top I cannot see the second photograph, why is this?

If you right click on an image you will see the button for “align” click here and it will allow you to bring images to the front, send them to the back, bring forward and send back. This will then determine your picture order.
